According to many historians, the Moors of Baeza near Jaen who were driven out by the christians in the 13th century and moved to Granada. The centre of power was located in Granada after the fall of Cordoba. The money followed the removal to Granada of the noblemen and led to the creation of the magnificent Alhambra Castle.
